2. General principles
This website is built to minimize data: it embeds no content from third-party servers , and the fonts are served locally from our own hosting (no connection to Google Fonts or comparable services). Without your consent, no cookies are set for analytics purposes and no usage data is transmitted to third parties. Only to record your decision about analytics do we store a technical value in your browser's local storage; it contains no personal data and is not transmitted to us.
3. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., 512 2nd Street, Suite 200, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you access the site, Netlify processes technically necessary data, in particular the IP address of your device, the date and time of access, the file requested, the browser type and the operating system. This processing is necessary for delivering and securing the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR - legitimate interest in secure and stable operation). Netlify stores server log files only for a short period.
Netlify also processes data in the USA. The transfer is based on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and on Netlify's certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. A data processing agreement is in place with Netlify (Art. 28 GDPR).
4. Contacting us
If you contact us by email or phone - for example about an order or with questions about the product - we process the data you provide (name, contact details, content of the enquiry) in order to handle your request and in case of follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract or pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding). We delete this data as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose and no statutory retention obligations prevent deletion.
5. Appointment booking via Google Calendar
To book a demo appointment we link to a Google booking calendar (calendar.app.google, provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Merely visiting our website transmits no data to Google; you only leave our website when you click the link. The processing of your data there (for example name, email address, chosen slot) is governed by Google's privacy notice. We process the appointments you book in order to carry out the demo (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
6. Payment processing (Stripe)
For purchases we use the payment service provider Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe Limited, 25/28 North Wall Quay, Dublin 1, Ireland). When you click the purchase button you are redirected to a payment page operated by Stripe; you enter your payment details exclusively there. We ourselves neither receive nor store complete payment data such as card numbers.
During the ordering process Stripe processes the data you enter - in particular name, company name, billing address, email address, any VAT identification number and the payment details - in order to process the payment and to prevent fraud. From Stripe we receive the information required for performing the contract and issuing the invoice (without complete payment data). The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of the purchase contract) and Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (retention obligations under tax and commercial law). To determine VAT automatically we use the Stripe Tax function; your address and tax data are processed to establish the applicable tax rate.
Stripe may also transfer data to affiliated companies outside the EU, in particular in the USA. The transfer is based on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. Details about Stripe's data processing can be found in Stripe's privacy policy.
7. Analytics with Google Analytics (only with consent)
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how this website is used - for example which pages are opened and how visitors arrive. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
Google Analytics is loaded only if you have actively consented beforehand. As long as you do not consent, or you decline analytics, no script from Google is loaded, no cookies are set and no data is transmitted to Google. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR in conjunction with section 25(1) TDDDG.
If consent is given, Google processes among other things a shortened IP address, device and browser information, the pages opened, time on page and the source of the visit. IP anonymization is enabled. Google may also process this data in the USA; the transfer is based on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and on Google's certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Details can be found in Google's privacy policy.
Withdraw consent: You can change your decision at any time with effect for the future.
